The aims of the school are:

· to ensure that each child is catered for according to his or her individual needs
· to ensure that each child is made to feel comfortable and secure in what may, at first, seem strange surroundings
· to provide a stimulating learning environment which encourages each child to participate with confidence at his or her own level
· to equip each child with the necessary academic and life skills that will enable them to progress, with confidence, to the next stage of their education

As your British National Curriculum school in the region, the staff have kept abreast of new initiatives in education, enabling them to provide continuity of curriculum content and teaching methods for pupils coming from or going to other British schools in the UK or abroad.

Brand new teaching and learning resources have been purchased in the areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Science, I.T., History and Geography to enable the staff to deliver the curriculum according to the requirements of the British National Curriculum. "A well-stocked library"

Pupils at the end of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are registered with the Department for Education and Skills (DFES) in England who provide the school with the National Standard Attainment Tests (SATS) for those pupils. SATS at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) are sent to England to be marked.

"School Computer Suite"

In order that the children experience a wide variety of academic, social, artistic and sporting activities, the school conducts afternoon activities. These are available to children once they are 6 years old. At different times of the year, the activities include netball, football, country dancing, cookery, art and craft, "Sunday School", swimming and drama. All children participate in a school play during the Autumn term.
